My Speech on National Mother's Day 2007

Good morning everybody !!

                              First of all, I would like to thanks God. Because of his blessed and salvation, we can meet here to celebrate the national mother’s day 2007, in our beloved city, Muara Teweh.

                              And I want to thanks for the master of ceremony that gave me time for standing here and deliver my speech.

                              Before, I want to introduce my self to all of you. My name is Rindha Dwi Maila Putri, and I represent the students of SMAN 1 Muara Teweh.

Ladies and gentlement,

                              The theme of my speech today is about “mother”. Of course it related to this celebration of the national mother’s day 2007.

                              As we know, mother is someone that most special in this world. And I’m sure that all of you will be agree with that statement. Right ???

Nobody can change her. Since we were small till now, without tire she always give her love and care to us.

Ladies and gentlement,

                              In this opportunity, I would like to tell you a little about my beloved mother. As a wife of a soldier, my mother is really active in organization of soldier’ s wife. Although like that, my mother never forget her obligation at home, such as accompanies us study at home, hears all of our share, gives us advise and always helps us to get solution for all of our problems. My mother always supports me in everything I do, exept she feels something that I will do have no benefit for me. And her support always gets me up when I’m down.

My mother always says’ “ Inda, you can if you think you can”. That simple sentence always motivates me to do the best for all.

My mother always entertaints me when I feel sad or bored. She always makes me smile although I have a big problem. That’s why I really love her.

Ladies and gentlement,

                              A mother is very very important for us. Do you still remember, who did teach us at the first time before we begin our school ? Teach us how to speak, how to walk, how to eat, and everything that we didn’t know yet ? Who ? Yes, the answer is mother. She is our first “teacher” in our life. When we grow old, our mother always adaptives with our condition.

My mother knows, what I need as a teenage like now. As a teenage, of course we have to be active. My mother always allows me to follow much activities, such as trained basketball, be a broadcaster in a radio station, etc. But she always remains me to take my health care, can to divide my time, and always focus to my main obligation as a student, that is study.

                              And of course, as a teenage, usually we get much problem, such as problem with friend, problem at school, etc. Mother is the right place where we can share about all of our problem. Because beside can be a good mother for us, she can also become a good friend when we need her. We can share and ask for her advice or her solution to our problem. Of course, as someone that has more experiences than us in this life, she can give us the best solution for all of our problem.

                              Well, beside as our first teacher in our life, as a good friend for us, mother also becomes our protector. She always tries to protect us from everything that can disturb us. She can do everything to makes her children feel pleasant and safety when their children near of her. How big her love to us !!?  That’s why at first I openned my speech a few minutes ago, I said nobody can changes her positition in our life. Do you agree with my argument just now ?

Ladies and gentlement,

                              As someone that the most understand 0f us, mother always tries to be there whenever and wherever we need her. Although we know, nothing live that’s eternal in this world, although her body will not forever with us, but her love will always there for us.

Her loyality to makes her family become always in happiness, will never end till the end of our life. Without mother, I will never there and stand here to give my biggest appreciation to her.  Although I know, I can’t do same as her. But I’ll try to always do the best that I can do. I hope she always be happy, never satisfied with me, and never sad moreover cry because of me.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

                              I have a question for all of you, especially for the student in Muara Teweh. Please answer with your honesty. Do you love your mother ? I’m sure that everybody answer, Yes. Right ?

So, what will you do to make her be happy ? To make her proud ? OK , I know all of you have different ways to do that.

As a student, what can we do to make our mother be proud and happy ? Right, the answer is only one. That is study hard to get the best achievement. To make her become proud and feel everything that she did, were not useless.

Ladies and gentlement,

                              Do you know what is the main purpose of this celebration of the national mother’s day ?

Well, the answer is only one. The purpose why we celebrate this national mother’s day every year is to give appreciation to all mother in this world because of their commendable to us.

So, that is true if in Mosleem proverb said that “the heaven is under of our mother foot sole.”

It’s not too over, because as we know that the positition of mother is on the highest place in our heart.

Ladies and gentlement,

                              Before I close my speech, let me read a short poetry to all mother in this world, especially to my beloved mother, with title “Thank You”

Thank you,

For teaching me how to love,

Showing me what the world means,

What I have been dreamin’ of,

And now I know…

there is nothing that I could not do,

Thanks to you…

For teaching me how to feel,

Showing me my emotions,

Letting me know what is real

from what is not,

than I’d ever hoped for is

and a lot of what I hope

Thanks to you, My beloved mother…

                              OK, I think that’s all that I can said in this opportunity. Before, I would like to conglatuled for all mother, especially that there in this place now, “Happy National Mother’s Day 2007”. I love you all. Thanks for everything that you gave for us as your children.

And once more I would like to invite all students, lets we study hard and present our best achievement to make our mother become proud to us. It will be very pleasant if we can see our mother smile because proud with everything we do, right ?

                              Well, thanks a lot of for your attention. If I made many mistakes, please give me apologize.
